November 21st, 2019 Meeting Minutes

Item 1: Chairperson Deb Johnson called to order the monthly meeting of the board of Linwood Trustees at 7:02pm. She also stated that the open meetings act is posted in the hall.
Item 2: Deb Johnson, Susie Matchett and Josh Slonecker answered to the roll call. Amber Philips and Mike Croghan was absent.
Item 3: While reading the minutes from the October 17th meeting the clerk realized that the motion to pay the October bills was missing and she would correct that error that should have read Amber Philips made a motion to pay the October bills, Susie Matchett seconded the motion and all present members were in favor. Josh Slonecker made a motion to accept the minutes with the correction. Susie Matchett seconded the motion. All were in favor with none opposed.
Item 4: Susie Matchett made the motion to accept the treasure’s report dated Nov. 21, 2019. Josh Slonecker seconded the motion. All were in favor with none opposed.
Item 5: Josh Slonecker made the motion to pay the November bills. Susie Matchett seconded the motion all were in favor with none opposed.
Kathy Eaton, Clerk fees $230.87; Will Eaton, maintenance $491.41; Kment Refrigeration, Repair of hall furnace labor and parts $270.75; Kathy Eaton, 1 coil of post card stamps $35.00; Deb Johnson, Trustee pay $390.87; Sue Matchett, trustee pay $554.10; Bomgaars parts .79; Schuyler public School District, liquor license fee $300.00; BPPD electricity $561.79.
Item 6: Correspondences: none
Item 7: Patrick Hartman and Kevin Kruse from JEO could not make it to the meeting but are sending some information they have gathered about the water drainage in the Village. The board also discussing to keep on the county about getting the outlying ditches to the East cleaned out. The clerk gave out the wrote up nuisance ordinance that has what the state has as laws, for them to look over. Table to next meeting.
Item 8: Resolution 11-2019- Resolution for the Chairperson to sign the Municipal Annual Certification of Program Compliance form 2019. Susie Matchett moved the adoption of said resolution and member Josh Slonecker seconded the motion. All were in favor with none opposed. Then Chairperson signed the form and clerk is to mail to the State. Will Eaton wanted to remind everyone to try and not to park on the street while it is snowing a plowable snow. The trustee’s agreed and instructed the clerk to post a notice at the hall. Josh Slonecker said that Will Eaton needs to look at the Culvert at Second the Maple street for a Semi went off into the ditch at that intersection.
Item 9: December 19th, 2019 starting at 7:00 pm at the Village Hall. Reorganizational meeting first then regular monthly meeting.
At 7:56 pm Susie Matchett made the motion to adjourn the meeting, Josh Slonecker seconded the motion, all were in favor meeting adjourned.
